Garage Flooring: What to Establish Before Choosing Resin

The cover image is illustrative, not a documented Puur project.

A garage floor must be assessed against how the space will actually be used. Vehicle traffic, storage, spills, moisture and the base condition can matter more than a glossy example photograph.

Describe the use

Tell the supplier about vehicles, equipment, chemicals, sunlight and whether the space is domestic or commercial. Request a system suitable for those conditions rather than relying on the word resin.

Survey the existing base

Record contamination, previous coatings, cracks, joints and moisture concerns. The installer should agree preparation and any moisture-control measures for the selected system; a decorative coating is not a universal remedy for damp concrete.

Plan access and return to use

Ask for the installation programme, environmental requirements and the point at which vehicles or stored loads can return. Different products have different requirements, so use the actual written instructions.

Obtain a care plan

Confirm approved cleaners, spill response and protection beneath equipment. Ask how wear or damage can be assessed and repaired. Before requesting a Puur proposal, confirm that the particular garage use falls within the services and systems we can offer.

Discuss your project with Puur

Send plans, photographs of the existing base, intended use and any heating details. We can discuss the finish, samples and the information needed before agreeing a specification.
