Small Bathroom Floors: Planning a Seamless Finish
The cover image is illustrative, not a documented Puur project.
Limited space makes levels, drainage and junctions particularly important. Choose the complete bathroom construction before deciding on the decorative surface.
Define the wet exposure
Distinguish a bathroom floor outside a shower from a wet-room shower floor. Puur PSR is not a wet-room shower finish; any proposed use outside the shower area needs project assessment.
Coordinate the waterproofing design
Agree the base, tanking where required, drain connections, penetrations and thresholds with the designer. A decorative coating or sealer should not be assumed to provide the whole waterproofing assembly.
Check heating and access
Confirm compatibility with the actual heating and substrate system. Use the relevant instructions for testing, drying, installation, curing and restart rather than a universal programme.
Plan everyday care
Ask for surface evidence relevant to the intended wet conditions and for approved cleaners and equipment. Confirm when bathroom or shower use is permitted, since light foot traffic and full wet use may have different requirements.
Discuss your project with Puur
Send plans, photographs of the existing base, intended use and any heating details. We can discuss the finish, samples and the information needed before agreeing a specification.
